2011 Open House The 2011 Open House event was held at the Cat Spring Fire Department Station on Saturday February 26. The turnout was light but the food was good, and with the exception of a mutual-aid structure fire call in the middle of things, everything went well. The fire call, in Sealy's district, turned out to be precautionary, and everyone returned shortly. Our guests were treated to the sight of members gearing up and leaving the station with lights on and sirens blaring. The battery on the camera quit early so will have to post pictures of the upcoming BBQ instead. |

| The 2011 Annual Cat Spring VFD BBQ Fundraiser was held on Saturday April 16, 2011. Serving began for the BBQ chicken supper about 5 pm and the auction started about 7. There were activities for the kids and a bean bag tournament, and we wish to thank everyone who came out, had a good time, and supported the local firefighters. Of course, all donations were, and are, tax deductible. |

Annual Comedy Classic Held in September |
The 2011 version of the Cat Spring VFD Comedy Classic was held on Saturday September 3rd. Yes that was Labor Day weekend, but everyone had a good time with running things. The prime rib and the Boonesfarm were not bad either. |
