| The 2010 Annual Cat Spring VFD BBQ was held on Saturday, April 17, 2010. The weather cooperated a little better this year and a good time was had by all. An Air-Evac helicopter, and outdoor activities including a moonwalk, rockwall, bullride, and a bean bag tournament kept everyone busy until the food was ready and the auction began. Visiting agencies included Air-Evac, Pattison VFD, Austin County Precinct 3 Constable, Bellville VFD, Sealy VFD, New Ulm VFD, Blieblerville VFD, Bernardo VFD, Austin County EMS, San Felipe/Frydek VFD, and Columbus VFD. All the support was greatly appreciated. |

| Third Annual Cat Spring VFD Comedy Night Classic was held on Saturday October 23rd and it was another successful endeavor for the Department. The show was sold out with good family entertainment with a few "think about it" jokes thrown in. At this point the plans for next year may present a few changes that we hope will provide another good time for all. |
